ManhwaTrack (manhwatrack.com) is an independent fan project that helps you track your manhwa and manhua reading progress. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
When you create an account via Google sign-in (Clerk), we store: • Your username, email address, and profile picture • Your reading list — titles, statuses, chapter progress, and personal ratings • Your tier lists, favorites, and reviews you create • Your extension token (a random string used to authenticate the browser extension) We do not collect passwords, payment information, or sensitive personal data.
Browser Extension
The ManhwaTrack browser extension collects: • The title name and chapter number of manhwa/manhua you are actively reading • The URL of the reading page (used only for matching titles in our database) This data is sent to our API at manhwatrack.com to update your reading progress. It is never sold or shared with third parties. The extension stores only your authentication token and username locally in browser storage.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely to provide the ManhwaTrack service: • Display your reading list and progress • Sync your reading progress from the browser extension • Show your ratings, reviews, and tier lists We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: • Clerk (clerk.com) — authentication and account management • Neon (neon.tech) — database hosting • Vercel (vercel.com) — website hosting • Google AdSense — advertising (may use cookies for ad personalization) • AniList API and MangaDex API — sourcing title metadata and cover images Each service has its own privacy policy. Cover images and metadata are sourced from AniList and MangaDex APIs and belong to their respective rights holders.
Cookies
We use session cookies for authentication (managed by Clerk). Google AdSense may set advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect site functionality.
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us on Discord.
Your Rights

Children's Privacy
